aku bagai sebatang pohon
ditengah padang ilalang
gersang.....

menunggu hujan
basahi.....
menanti matahari
menyinari.....

kering berkarat sudah diriku
namun ajal seperti enggan
menyentuh

aku bagai sebatang pohon
ditengah padang ilalang
gersang.....

dinginya malam
menyelimuti.....
teriknya siang
membakar.....

tak ada dahan yang sudi
tuk berkecambah
dan sehelai daun pun
enggan temani diri

kini akar ku tak kuasa lagi
tuk mencengkram tanah

namun kuasa NYA
masih berikan padaku
nyawa.....
entah untuk berapa lama
