STAGE I and II - All competitors play in both stages with a 20 minute recital in each.

STAGE III - 20 competitors will play a 40 minute recital. (Seymour Theatre Centre, University of Sydney)
Announcement of the 20 pianists selected to proceed to Stage III- approximately 6:00pm on Sunday 20 July.

STAGE IV - 12 competitors will play a 50 minute recital and a piano trio.
(Seymour Theatre Centre, University of Sydney)
Announcement of the 12 pianists selected to proceed to Stage IV- approximately 6:00pm on Tuesday 22 July.

STAGE V - FINALS - 6 competitors will each play 2 concertos. (Sydney Opera House, Concert Hall)
Announcement of the six finalists- approximately 11:00pm on Friday 25 July.
